In the KKDIK record, the cost does not consist of a single item. Ministry fee, data access fee (LoA), technical file preparation and MBDF organization are separate items. Which model is right for you depends on whether your material has a leader file and your tonnage band.

• Joint registration (MBDF) pricing principles — MBDF organization, data sharing, pricing according to LoA and tonnage band on items with leader file defined.
• Single registration option — Registration without participating in joint registration: data licensing principles, technical file responsibility and pricing.
• Data licensing and registration pricing — Licensing model for CAS datasets produced by literature searches, data mining, (Q)SAR, and read-across.
• KKDIK Management Portal — Management portal where MBDF and registration processes are carried out together with the participants.

No registration required, free. Fee figures come from the 2026 Unit Price List of the Revolving Fund Enterprise of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and item data comes from the kkdik.ai open data set.

Official fee is not the total cost

The number given by the engine is registration fee to be paid to the Ministry. Items such as data access fee (LoA), technical file preparation, chemical safety report (KGR) and MBDF contribution fee are also added to your total registration cost. These items are specific to the substance and the MBDF; request a preliminary evaluation to find out the actual total cost for your item.
