Foreign (non-Turkish) manufacturers cannot register directly under KKDIK. Appointing a Turkey-based Only Representative (OR) is the most efficient route: the OR manages all registration obligations centrally, importers become downstream users and are relieved of their own registration burden, confidential composition data is protected, and tonnage is tracked centrally. Only Representative (OR) in Turkey under KKDIK
Under KKDIK (Turkey REACH), a non-Turkish manufacturer cannot register a substance directly. A foreign manufacturer may appoint a Turkey-based Only Representative (OR) who assumes the importers’ registration obligations on its behalf.
