KKDIK is the Turkish Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals — Turkey’s equivalent of the EU REACH Regulation. It is administered by Turkey’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change through the Chemical Registration System (KKS). KKDIK requires manufacturers and importers of substances at 1 tonne per year or more to register those substances, prepare an IUCLID technical dossier, meet tonnage-based data requirements and provide compliant Safety Data Sheets. Foreign manufacturers cannot register directly and typically appoint a Turkey-based Only Representative. Registrants must complete their preliminary or full registration by 30 September 2026; final full-registration dates depend on the substance’s tonnage band and hazard profile.
