What data does the engine use?

This calculator uses figures from identified sources. It draws on two actual sources:

• Substance data — kkdik.ai open data set: substance name, EC number, harmonized classification, H codes, CMR Cat. 1A/1B and Aquatic Acute 1 / Chronic 1 status.
• Fee data — Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Revolving Fund Enterprise 2026 Unit Price List: tonnage band × enterprise size × individual/joint registration.

How is the deadline calculated?

The provisional registration deadline is 30 September 2026 and includes all registrants who are members of MBDF, regardless of tonnage. The full registration deadline is item specific:

• CMR Cat. 1A or 1B substances — 31 December 2026 (tonnage 1 t/y and above)
• Aquatic Acute 1 / Chronic 1 substances, 100 t/y and above — 31 December 2026
• 1,000 t/y and above — 31 December 2026
• 100 t/y and above — 31 December 2028
• 1 t/y and above — 31 December 2030

Official fee is not the total cost

The number given by the engine is registration fee to be paid to the Ministry. Data access fee (LoA), technical file preparation, chemical safety report (CSR) and MBDF contribution fee are also added to your total cost. These items are item and MBDF specific — request a preliminary evaluation to find out the actual total cost for your item.
