Lead Registrant Services in Turkey (KKDIK)
Under KKDIK (Turkey REACH), companies registering the same substance submit a joint dossier led by a Lead Registrant. The Lead Registrant compiles the shared data set, classification and, where required, the Chemical Safety Report on behalf of the MBDF, while member registrants add their own tonnage and use information. A strong Lead Registrant determines the speed and quality of the registration. What lead registrant services cover
Acting as lead registrant means running the joint dossier for everyone registering the same substance. We coordinate the forum, confirm sameness, map the data gaps, commission the missing studies and submit the dossier, then allocate costs and issue letters of access to members.
Why companies outsource the role

Cost recovery
The lead usually funds the studies first and recovers the money as members join. A clear model, agreed at the start and documented per tonnage band, prevents disputes later. Members registering in a low band should not pay for the full data package.
What members receive
Members obtain a letter of access covering the studies their tonnage band requires, together with the reference to the joint submission. The scope of that letter should be checked carefully, since it determines what happens when their volume later increases.
