IUCLID Dossier Preparation for KKDIK and REACH
IUCLID is the standard software used to compile the technical registration dossier for KKDIK (Turkey REACH) and REACH. A complete IUCLID dossier includes substance identity, physico-chemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological data, uses and exposure information, classification and, where required, the Chemical Safety Report. The dossier is submitted via KKS (KKDIK) or REACH-IT (REACH). Dossier quality is decisive for acceptance and inspection resilience. ONAY Mühendislik prepares and manages IUCLID technical dossiers with independent data generation capability, including SAR/QSAR and read-across.

Preparing an IUCLID dossier
IUCLID is the standard format for registration dossiers in both the Turkish and European systems. The dossier brings substance identity, study records, classification and exposure scenarios into one structured file that the authority can process automatically.
Dossier structure
- Substance identification and composition
- Physicochemical properties
- Toxicological and ecotoxicological endpoint study records
- Identified uses and exposure scenarios
- Classification and labelling
Common mistakes
The first is importing study records without assessing their reliability. The second is describing uses too broadly, so the scenarios no longer match production reality. The third is failing to update the dossier after a supplier or formulation change.
Validation before submission
Run the completeness checks built into the software before transmitting anything. Empty fields and inconsistencies surface immediately. An internal review costs a few hours, whereas a formal request for further information costs months.

Who prepares the dossier
In joint registrations the lead registrant builds the main dossier while each member submits its own part. Members still have to confirm that their real uses are covered. If a use is missing it must be added, otherwise the registration does not describe what the company actually does.
