Do I need an Only Representative for KKDIK?
Foreign (non-Turkish) manufacturers cannot register directly under KKDIK (Turkey REACH). Appointing an Only Representative is not strictly mandatory, but in practice it is the most efficient route. The alternative is for each Turkish importer to register separately. When a manufacturer appoints a single Turkey-based Only Representative, the entire registration obligation is managed centrally, importers become downstream users and are relieved of their own registration burden, confidential composition data is protected, and tonnage is tracked centrally. Two ways to meet the obligation
