MBDF (Substance Information Exchange Forum) is the mechanism under KKDIK through which companies registering the same substance share data and cooperate. After pre-registration, registrants of the same substance form an MBDF to agree on substance sameness, share studies, appoint a Lead Registrant and prepare a joint IUCLID dossier. This avoids duplicate testing and reduces costs.
